Bleach was one of those works that caused such an impact in the anime industry so I think it's wrong to say everyone dislikes Bleach. Most will find it hard to accept that there's a point in time where they would wait for the episode in an almost ritualistic fashion. But to be honest, bleach suffered a lot of negative comments thanks to the anime. The epic captain fights were eclipsed by the facepalm worthy bounto arc because it's honestly horrendous and a waste of talent.
I don't think it's right to put down Bleach just because of the anime. The canon arcs are a great read and the fight scenes are certainly entertaining. I for one enjoyed the arrancar arc, especially the part where Ichigo sacrificed his Shinigami powers to destroy Aizen (or at least he was supposed to). I thought the author finally realized that all great works must have a great ending, but then the next week another chapter came out with a new plot that came out of nowhere so I said to myself "well never fucking mind!"
At first I thought the author was just faffing about, after Aizen's arc. I really didn't get the point of another arc but now thinking about it, the author prepared for this arc long before. I remember the first time Ichigo showed Ishida his badge and Ishida felt something wrong with it, I guess that was a pretense to this arc. Maybe the author will try to explain the 'Spirit King' and the 'Royal Key' before finally ending the series.
How I like the work so far? I think it's fine but it's getting seriously hard to follow. I think they're adding too many characters when old characters have not found their resolution yet. With that said I'm still left wondering if Hiyori ever recovered from what she suffered in that fight with Aizen but these are things I don't think the author will even bother to look at in the near future.
From what I know of, we speak in terms of the manga itself. At least for me and my peers. What we disrespect/dislike/dispise/hate/dropped Bleach is just the prolongation of the useless plotline that Tite Kubo included RIGHT AFTER Ichigo is said to lose his Shinigami powers forever. Most people agrees that Bleach should've ended after the Aizen arc, which would most likely seem appropriate for a fitting end to a shounen series. Instead of putting an end into this ever-lasting evolving series, the plotline of the FullBring comes along. The plot of the FullBring might/may have explain the mysterious powers that only certain humans have(i.e Chad and Orihime) would have, however it is irrelevant to the overall story of Death Gods. Starting with a new arc for Bleach meant starting back from scratch, the process of leveling up into the same over-powered character Ichigo always was.
Aizen proved to be the strongest antagonist in the series, yet another antagonist appears however is weaker to Aizen? The irony strolls along into a shounen series.
My only question is:
What do they gain by doing a rather risky move by prolonging the series than what it should? Will it abruptly end like Zombie Powder, left for the unknown yet continuing to search for the answers for their prayers/hope/will?
That is my previous greatest fear of Bleach ending at, but at this rate Bleach is going down the turmoil, whether for the best or for the worst. Whichever Tite Kubo will decide next.
Edit: Thanks art for the info now.
