Ilya in Fate/Stay Night *Spoilers*

Looking back the anime was trash compared to the VN, but I still enjoyed it and can acknowledge that it was pretty good if you just write off the VN pretty much entirely, can't compare the two if you wanna enjoy the anime imo.

The anime is the adaptation from the VN ..
It cannot be helped that people will compare the original and its adaptation .. because obvious thing is just too obvious.

If they weren't sure on how to put all story entirely then it will be better for them to hold the project until they can find the solution. Otherwise, they will just ruin the VN's image.

Making it already means they prepare to responsible for it (the anime one).
and they failed on it, sadly.
Well, i just want to say .. for some people who taking Fate/stay Night as "not good" anime to play the VN. Perhaps it can change their mind.

This is a weird question to answer. If you only count the anime then I could understand the consideration to hate her. However, if you played the VN then I doubt you would ever consider wanting to kill Ilya.

Well I downloaded the VN yesterday and I am going to give it a try when I have the free time. Since there is so much people saying that its better than the anime.

There is but ONE anime exempted from this... and that is Clannad and Clannad ~After Story~. The anime has surpassed the original so much

For once Shirou really hit the nail on the head: Illyasviel has no concept or right or wrong. Even though she's older than Shirou, she's still just a child as the Einzbern never allowed her to grow up. She's cruel because she's never been allowed to interact with people so she can't relate to them. To her hurting someone is no different than squashing an irritating bug or playing with a doll.

You can't judge her as you would a normal person.
Would I kill her? Not if I had a choice. Not if there was some way to stop her without doing so.

However I'm not Shirou and if I had to choose between Illya and her killing a lot of people on a rampage I might be forced to hurt or even kill her, as I'd stand no chance against her servant.

Though its not actualy stated... Ilya could not of killed archer... since Technically Archer had yet to exist in that form..
