Inuyasha - The Final Act, Episode 8: about Kikyo...

So, liek, I heard Kikyo died.

... and to be honest, I'm kinda glad she did. Dead person should've remained dead as one of Inuyasha's weakest points as an anime was the ridiculous and never-ending love triangle teenager angst that pissed the hell out of me. Finally we get an answer with this episode with the dead girl PERMANENTLY dead for realz.

IMO, Kagome > Kikyo.

So, thoughts? Impressions?

Well the fanbase seems to like Kikyo more than Kagome, but to be honest I can't get myself to like Kikyo, not for one bit, hence the "IMO" part. In fact, Kikyo coming back is the reason for all of this angst, that if this series god rid of, it would be so much better as an adventure-packed anime. I don't care if Kikyo came back as a vengeful ghost with very few emotions, she was still a flat character that seriously hindered the progress of the series. But I wouldn't be fair attacking Kikyo, Inuyasha himself is such a willy-nilly that he can't make up his mind between the two that it pisses me off.

I seriously regret watching those 135 + 4 movies of Inuyasha... biggest waste of time if anything.
