Is dubbing getting worse or better?

[size=12]Recently different anime series (shall not be named to not dis' them) have crappy, out of sync dubbing. But some are completely within sync. Thoughts and opinions below.(Obviously)[/h]

i agree most of the ones i watched have out of sync dubbing. its kind of irrating, they need to fix them.

I'd say worse. Dubs from the old days were more believable, but this is relative. There are some dubs today that are still worth watching and some are above par but I feel that the old dubs were more competent.

I personally despise dubs, their voice don't suit the character they are playing most of the times.

Great another dub thread, I like dubs and yes they are getting better, that doesn't mean there arn't bad dubs but for the most part newer dubs are pretty good.

neither! i watch dub and sub..but sometimes the dub version ruins the anime and you'll think that the anime was bad

Well that's pretty vague if one hasn't seen the recent dubs. Could you provide an example?

I'd say as a general trend, dubbing is getting much better, but there is still lots of room for improvement
