K-On! SEASON 2 ~All Things Come to an End~

Ep 15 made me realize Yui is a truly lazy and greedy person. She didn't really run, she was a burden to the group, she went off course to her neighbors and she wasn't willing to sacrifice a rice cake to her friends. I don't care if this was funny, IRL she would have been a nuisance. My image of her has shattered. My childhood adulthood is ruined.

So you've noticed it too, huh. The writers have been shaping Yui to be a more unmotivated and self-conscious character episode by episode. This can first be observed in some episode scenes where the other characters comment on some of Yui's lazy or childish acts, and she responds back in a serious conscious manner. But in this episode it's really evident.

The overall writing in this episode as a whole wasn't too good. There were a lot of moments where some characters were unrealistically motionless/ quiet. And the animations ended up making it all the more evident.

Oh well, hopefully they'll get back on the right tracks.

^Well it seems that Yui wasn't made to be such a horrible character this episode.

I like how their focusing on specific characters than just the group as a whole. It's interesting in a very entertaining way.

Aren't gg and CoalGuys related somehow? I remember reading somewhere that gg's translator is the same as CG.

Cute series but it seems to have dry spells and stuff.

Very cute imo, but I've noticed the dry spells too, but I still manage to enjoy each episode thoroughly ^^

Dunno about that, but that's not what I meant. Watch the episode and you'll get it, it feels like a finale, but there's another episode next week.

It feels like a finale because it's their last live performance as students. Not necessarily the end of the series. But it should end soon.

That was a fun episode. I wasn't liking Yui this episode though. I know they needed to stall and stuff because they only needed a few songs but seriously Yui is such an airhead.

Is no one watching K-On anymore? Finale just came out too, can't believe no one's posted yet.

Finale was pretty emotional (not Clannad quality though), that song they played for Azunyan was pretty nice, and overall, pretty sad that the series has ended. Yes, ENDED, so I don't think there will be a Season 3. Still, we've got the 2 special episodes left to look forward to. Really gonna miss it when it's gone.

Yea no a lot of activity here, I've been watching it, and now that its reached its end I am sad. I enjoyed the series very much and of course I was very sad while watching the finale.

I am extremely sad that the series has ended, but alas, nothing can be done about it because the manga ended too. Wish I could see them in college...let's hope theres an OVA on college life. =D

Well, I watched the last episode of K-ON, (well, technically not the very last, but at least for the original light music club), and I was in tears by the end of it. Not tears of sadness, no. My tears were joyful, and optimistic. I was so proud of how far along the gang has come, and it was a pleasure to watch all of them grow up together.

I'm very much looking forward to the two special episodes, and to see how this series truly concludes.

Also, I found a nice MAD for the last song:
