K-on is gonna have a second season on april so i was wondring who would you want to hear sing next?

I would like to hear Tsumugi sing next

I'd definitely want to hear Ritsu sing, since she's my favorite character. I'd also like to hear Yui's little sister sing.

When I first heard this I looked like a little kid who just got a shitload of candy. So yeah, I'm happy. Hurray for K-ON 2 !!

I just want more Mio.

I just want them to keep the formula they used in the first season. I really hope they don't screw it up.

I'd like to hear them singing and playing music more and being cute more and more, and well nothing in particular, just almost the same stuff as the first season. It was allready awsome enugh for me. :)

I'm sadly not psyched, I have the feeling that the second series is gonna be made up by pure fan service and no story. (If it can be more fan service in a series and not make it ecchi)

Note that this is just based on my paranoia that they'll ruin a great series with a sucky sequel, let's just hope for the best. ;D

Well, K-on, being a 4koma, never had much of a story in the first place, so unless the characters start acting extremely out of character, then I think you have little to worry about.

Don't put too much hope in, you know most sequels end up like shit.

Wrong. If you look at said animes, you'll notice the first season wasn't that good to begin with. Name me 2 or 3 animes in which the first season was good but ended up being screwed up on the second season.

The only one I can think of would be Minami-ke, but that wasn't too great in the first season either to begin with. It was just a bunch of random ideas slapped together that was funny at times and unfunny at others.

K-ON! on the other hand followed a rather strict "set of rules". And from the quality put into the first season, I doubt they'll screw it up.

Still, with today's anime, you never know.

Well one thing is for sure KyoAni rarely puts up fanservice.

W8, what? ok, 2 or 3, lets see... Most obvious: Gundam SEED Destiny. No need to explain. It sucks. Others... Well, Minami-ke as you mentioned below, at least the third season is shit. Anyway, Suzumiya Haruhi should also count, sequels (all of them, spin-offs and w/e) sucks badly, though I'm not too much of a fan of the first either. And well, it's not really a sequel, but the last arc of the Rurouni Kenshin TV anime. Damn, that one sucks. .hack//Roots is pretty bad as well imo, I mean, it's watchable, but it's nothing compared to .hack//sign. And Mai-Otome, isn't really a sequel as much as a spin-off, but it so bad compared to Mai-Hime.



I agree, it's not likely that they will screw it up, hopefully they will continue in the same style and pace as before. 4-panel-stips seldom go wrong anyway imo.

I haven't seen any Gundam so I wouldn't know. And same for Mai.
Rurouni Kenshin... I wouldn't know either. I watched that when I was really young, I can't remember a thing.
About .Hack, i've only watched sign, so can't may much of that either (btw, sign has got to be up there in the list of the list of the most boring animes ever).
Suzumiya sucks to begin with. Seriously, can you watch through the whole first season and say you were not bored even once? Can you say you LIKE the characters? Did the story make much sense to you? The answer to all 3 is NO. Face it, the show's a piece of crap. And the people who like it only do because of the character design (which happens to be good) and fanservice.

Uh, no. It seems you've missed some of my past rages regarding suzumiya.

I doubt I missed them, but remembering that kind of information is useless to me. I just DON'T see how the story CANNOT make sense. I mean, Itsuki always explains everything. It was particularly hilarious during E8. We're in an endless recursion of time, indeed.

On topic, I am not looking forward to any specific K-On girl singing. I'm more interested in hearing more ridiculous songs like Light and Fluffy Time.

I'm not at all worried that the next season will be bad. The people who make K-On are apparently a pretty tight knit group who get to do the series the way they want. At least, thats what I read here and there...
