Wow, this one sure is a great series this season and what a way to start if off. It got me hooked, now just a matter of waiting each week for an ep, want more! :D
I'm beginning to think that the manga will wind up being a better adaptation of the LNs than the anime. Narumi had hardly any monologues going on in this episode and he is currently just a generic protagonist. There also seem to be some odd pacing issues. One minute, he is at Alice's place, then the next, he's cleaning up a virus caused by the computer-illiterate yakuza when trying to visit porn sites.
Watched up to Episode 3, and it was really intense:
Spoiler:
Can't really say much other than the fact taht I was pretty surprised that he actually lied about the whole bank's system hacking, but I figured that it is something really tough to do. Guess you need to lie to succeed sometimes lol.
Also, Narumi really maned up on this episode, to be able to get into the whole fighting in the end, only to get hit though, I'd be frozen if I were at such a situation, I guess fighting just isn't my thing. Lol.
And lastly, Alice in kimono while holding a stuffed bear looks soooo cute!!
I am kicking this thread back up cause episode 4 was odd.
Spoiler:
Dude keeps stealing Min's sarashi because she doesn't wear a bra and then goes crazy, guesses her breast size as we have close ups to her breasts, albeit, under a towel.
Alice's earlier line about being touched/petted/whatever makes a lot of sense now, given how adorable she was this episode.
"Sniff it."
"But it's an extension of my body so don't sniff it, don't grope it, don't even LOOK at it!"
"Also ... help me I'm drowning in the washing machine!"
The 4th's Yakuza continue to be hilarious with their idea for getting "suntan shirts". Pikachu Hair is an interesting guy as well.
Edit:
Episode 6:
Spoiler:
A tsundere Alice is fine by me. I didn't expect Pikachu Hair to be quite that brutal. Sure, I figured that he'd be rough around the edges, but not to this extent.
Yes, finally the story moves into the main event of sorts.
Ep 10
Spoiler:
I think Ayaka is alright (despite how bad the fall looked), but something is telling me this might have a bitter sweet ending. Oh, well, next week should be interesting.
Writer A: “So we’ve had a good bit of drama this season, eh?”
Writer B: “Yeah, but none of it’s really been close to home, has it? Just third parties and past stuff.”
Me: ¬_¬ †˜I don’t like where this is going…’
Writer A: “Oh, I know how we can make more drama! And let’s do it right after the one-off super upbeat teamwork-friendship episode!”
Me: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Basically, J.C. Staff pacing at its finest; bringing up something that occurred in the first volume of the light novel only just now.
