Well this was certainly ... different. Not bad ... just different.
I'm kinda guessing that the producers were simply all too aware that rivaling Paradox Spiral on common ground would be near impossible and decided to serve us something with a completely different flavor (and save a bit of budget while at it).
Animation/music-vise it was KnK as we all know it - gorgeous (the money got saved on less fighting and half the length not the overall quality). The mood was notably lighter though compared to the previous movies.
As far as story's concerned ... it was a bit of a letdown. I know little about this part of the novel but from what opinions began to surface it would seem the story got somewhat lobotomized focusing more on Azaka and the memory aspect than on the mysteries. The length and focus also made some characters seem near-insignificant. Most notably Satsuki and ... Shiki.
Overall this is mostly worth the watch to get your rare KnK fix and enjoy
Akiha Rin Azaka in all her Type-Tsun glory ... along with some serious yuri flags.
Sum screenshots and a
torrent to boot.
