keita torigaya (asu no yoichi)

...i got bored and decided to rewatch asu no yoichi from episode 1-9......wa-san always mention "torigaya,are you shrinking?" and decided to check it....compare the torigaya in the 1st-3rd episode of asu no yoichi...to episode 5 and above......torigaya really is shrinking......(the face also change, and the attitude)

to be that observant...you must be quite bored, huh? and now that you mention it, i noticed it too.

didn't really noticed that... I thought he's just really shorter than wa-san... good find though, I'll keep an eye on torigaya too...

Anybody know why? I know that Torigaya keeps shrinking (though minimal), but it kinda perplexes me because I don't really think it's a great joke.

I have no clue either nor did i go back to check upon hearing that remark, maybe they just want it that way, he is a rather unimportant character to the series as a whole, to Wa-san he's some what of significance but nothing that's big,(if anything the episode that mentions there past just help build Wa-san character) and further in the manga I've yet to see him to anything, so let him shrink, won't really ruin my fun watching each episode

since he's a side character somehow i kinda didn't really care about wa-san's statements but it seems like he's really shrinking though the cause is unknown

it won't stop me from watching asu no yoichi^^

well my theory is, his "shrinking" and turning into a fun, laid-back guy is a reflection of Wa-san's personality. :D
