Kurogane no Linebarrels aka Linebarrels of Iron
Time to bring this thread back......
A gigantic robot and the girl of your dreams are what you get ...... at the cost of your life.
Fourteen-year-old Kouichi Hayase's life has always been a mediocre one, if not dismal. However, those days of being bullied by classmates and escaping to a fantasy of being a hero are put to an end when a certain "accident" bestows on him a girl and a gigantic humanoid robot called "LINEBARREL". The extraordinary power that Kouichi obtains puts him and everything around him on a sudden rollercoaster ride of battles, intrigues and friendship! During the course of his adventure, the boy starts to learn what life has to offer; he meets new friends, bids farewell to the old ones, but most of all he now has considerable responsibilities and is forced to confront the world around him.
[size=8](which imo is fine and dandy, but sadly this is GONZO so the story gets stretched out and it takes too long for Koichi's character to develop,
but since I enjoyed the manga so much I felt I should give the anime a try and I am pleased, just not as much as I was hoping.) [/h]
As for the OP and ED, some ppl don't like ALI-PROJECT "Kitei no Tsurugi" yet I do. But the first ED "Ame ga furu" and second ED "Remedy" both by Maaya Sakamoto are great songs and worth hearing.
I am actually enjoying the series a lot more than before now that certain issues i had with it have been fixed, but since the series is near its end it seems a little too late. But I will watch the remainder and it should be noted that the series does posses I good VA cast, one of the reasons I decided to watch the anime version of this.
Just because I can, I give you the girls of Kurogane no Linebarrels (mostly just Kizaki and Miu) Kizaki FTW!
