Kuroshitsuji 24 (End)(plus some)

so it wasn't as dramatic as toradora or clannad, nor was it mecha-action-packed as gundam 00 or code geass, heck it's nowhere nearly as epic a failure as naruto, but it kept me entertained to the very end, and i'm perfectly content for that alone.

kuroshitsuji definitely wasn't as highly anticipated as some of the "OMGZ,GOTTA WATCH" series, in fact, i started it off with the expection of dropping it sooner or later(meh, i generally start everything with that attitude, maybe that's what's keeping me from success up till now).

Plot wise, the concept of a demon butler, the theme of revenge were both very well articulated throughout the entire framework of kuroshitsuji, the comical elements are certainly a nice touch but often corny in times(the repetition of the phrase "i'm just a hell of a butler after all"). The consistency of animation quality was impressive. In overview, the depth of its character designs is what struck the core of my admiration, then again there're only my opinions(not really worth shit)...i'd recommend this for anyone who's got some time to spare(unfortunately i won't for a while)...//end of wtf-am-i-saying-while-i-should-be-doing-homework-rant//

I'm currently watching this one too, but [shinsen] is super slow, how's [ronery] quality sub?

Yea, I'm kinda waiting around for Shinsen-subs to finish... so I haven't been able to finish the series yet.

So I'm finally done with this "wholesome" series. My whole perception of it was that of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I totally agree with Nate, very well said esp the part where you should be doing your homework instead. What I particularly liked about the series would be...hmmm... its main theme perhaps? (I'm not really sure if I did like it overall)... I'm just fond of "mellow" dark and twisted themes such as this, and it did well in staying true to that. Out of the whole bunch of characters, I like Grell the most. That gay reaper's "poses" and "lascivious acts" were simply hilarious as fuck. (Jun Fukuyama did an awesome job) :lol:

Ronery may be a newly formed sub group but they're a lot better than what you might have thought. You guys might as well give their releases a shot. :)

So I started watching this on a whim the other day but I liked it immediately. Enough to watch it all in two days even. :lol:
I thought it was a really good show. The bloody horror and tragic parts were very nice and the comedy was good at offsetting it. Though I know some people didn't like that there's comedy all throughout all these dismal situations, but I loved it. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
Simple as that.
The last fight was a tad disappointing because they didn't show Sebastian's true form. :?
Though that's really the only beef I have with this show.
And I loved the oh-so happy ending..... :P

But the best part of this show, hands down, was Greil Sutcliffe. :lol:
