[Manga] Liar Game

Nao Kanzaki, an honest college student, receives 100 million yen (about $1,000,000) and an invitation to participate in something called the "Liar Game Tournament". When Nao is easily tricked by her opponent, she turns to ex-convict and genius swindler Shinichi Akiyama for help out of desperation to get the money back. Though Akiyama is reluctant, he agrees to help on the condition that they steal Fujisawa's money as well, and that he takes half the profits as his reward.

Akiyama succeeds in taking all the money and winning the game for Nao. However, Nao and Akiyama's success at the Liar Game is far from over and each time they think the game is over, they are forced to return again with higher stakes. Though initially unwilling participants, the pair choose to continue in the game in order to discover the true nature of the organization involved and to try to free other participants from the Liar Game.

Is it THAT good? If it is I'll read it.

Yes, it is THAT good. It is without doubt the best manga I've ever read. However, things does get a bit complicated starting from Round II and you will need pen and paper to keep up with the geniuses in this series.

i completely exploded my head during the last few rounds i could only follow up to round 2 with my head the rest i needed paper and rereads

Just finished reading some pretty epic manga, let's see if this one can top those.

Actually it's up to chapter 100 already...I read the raw. English Scanlation is pretty lazy...

Hm. It's a pity; this series deserves faster translation. It's pretty much Death Note without the super-luck and more logic-based.

I can't believe this hasn't been posted. Such an incredible manga - if this has been posted, feel free to lock this. It's just this manga is so epic I still can't imagine that no one has discussed this before. Even that awful drama has been discussed on here. -_-;;

This manga has really bad art, but don't stop reading because of that. I promise you, within the first chapter, you'll be hooked.

This is actually my favourite manga of all time. On a Psychology level, I believe this even exceeds Death Note. I thought that there must be a thread so I didn't create this sooner. The fact that there is no thread means that not enough people are reading this.
