Little Busters Anime (C'mon Key! Make it happen!!)

After about almost two or three years since I saw Clannad, I kept wondering about Kyoani's general preference in anime, on one side I see awesome, clever, well written, funny, or even near-mindfucked anime (Full Metal Panic, Haruhi, Air, Kanon, Munto) then I see K-on!..................

Anyway I digress, the point is that KyoAni does great on certain animes especially the ones that are based on Key, Granted Angel Beats! did good with P.A Works, but it didn't necessarily contain that emotion of drama, just merely contained part of it


And Thus, It still boggles my mind as to why KyoAni hasn't done a Little Busters Anime?

hopefully if we're lucky, we'll get something after Nichijou.

I, too, am hoping for an anime adaptation of Little Busters, but I would be cool with either Kyoto Animation or P.A Works picking it up.

I'd much rather have KyoAni pick it up then P.A. Works. Angel Beats was really weak when compared to Clannad and Kanon 2006. I'm also in agreement as to why KyoAni didn't pick up Angel Beats...

Hopefully after the K-ON! movie and that other anime we'll get Little Busters. They should have enough of a budget to make a good 24 episode anime, or go the Clannad way and do two seasons.

Saw Clannad, fell in love with anything by Key, bought everything they had, so I'd really love to see a Little Busters.

To make an anime just because a new Key novel is out is outright dumb and ridiculous. Especially when most reviews of the game say that it's pretty bad. And not just by Key standards.

But wasn't Angel Beats an anime original project? And the other medias came later? gah, idk.

OT: I'd both love and hate to see a Little Busters anime. I would love to see it being made into an anime, but I would probably hate big parts of it if it's not extremely close to the game, which will be hard if the don't do the Amagami SS Omnibus thing, which in turn would be bad because then you can't go into as much detail since then the anime would be too long instead.

Unfortunately, you forgot the fact that scenarios made by KEY is easy to combine into one linear story.

Look at Kanon, Air, Clannad.
All of them uses "Pseudo-Omnibus".
This means they go to all the routes but sacrifices "destiny-locking" events, like Love confessions.

In Clannad, originally all the Girls eventually will date Okazaki if you complete their route, even Yukine, and Kotomi. But they omitted the love confession part, because it was easy to omit.

Little busters is Also the same in one sense.
