actually Mahou Senki Lyrical Nanoha Force (Magical War Chronicle Lyrical Nanoha Force) is the fourth manga series taking place a few years after the events of StrikerS, now VIVIO is stated to be 4 years after StrikerS while Force puts Nanoha at age 25, if you remember Nanoha is 19yrs old in StrikerS so Force is 6 years thus 2 years after VIVIO nano desu.

I just loved the whole series, really awesome and kind of epic as well =P for me ofc.
I'd say 2nd season was best since Nanoha and Fate were still young and 3rd had bit more epic moments, thou Nanoha, Fate and Hayate were older. 1st season was like it missed some action or characters, but still cool ^__^

2nd is the best since loli many around..hehe
but 3rd has more cool event in cost fewer loli..
as for season 1...
it's normal mahou shoujou...

I just finished watching this series all three seasons, but I didn't see a thread for the other 2 series.
I gotta say though this is my favorite of the 3. Prob not everyone else favorite but I loved it, I didn't think I was that in to loli, but after watching all 3 seasons of it, I loved it, Fate, Nanoha, Hayate, all of them, there so cute. I don't know who my favorite is though, it either Nanoha or Fate.

It looks like another fanservice-ful anime based on eroge. I don't understand what all the popularity in Japan's site is about (or was. Haven't seen much Nanoha-related things lately)

It is watchable...at least for me it is...the only downside is...that it is too yuri...need more good guys...

@Everyone: This is a very good anime. No fanservice. Solid plot. No Yuri either like post above states. Watch it. Not a kiddie show.

It only gives the Yuri vibe once it reaches StrikerS (3rd season) stage. Maybe, if you read between the lines, Nanoha A's (second season) could have some.
But, definitely, season 1 does not hint towards any Yuri at all.
And, I am guessing, the reason why it is majority girls is that Mahou Shonen just doesn't sound as cute nor cuts it as well as Mahou Shoujo, else Sailor Moon would had been about a dumb blond boy who meets a cat and is helped by a chick in a tuxedo who throws roses... umm... gender bender.
