Yeah, but at least this series has closure unlike some others. Any manga series over the 4 volume length usually provides that sense of character growth as they go through trials and tribulations. Eyeshield21 is no exception, though I think Sena coming up with these god-like manuevers at the last second is kinda cheap. 4th dimensions run? Wtf? Though the application of the devil's ghost to the 4th dimension run was something I could appreciate and comprehend.
I liked how he stuck to devil bat ghost to the end though
And yeah, the teikoku arc isn't as strong as the other arcs
with the exception of a couple of chapters, both teams are like
"hey guys lets make a touchdown"
and then makes one in like 2 pages
This game makes teikoku not as hyped up as they sounded like back then
Of course with the other ones we had some background of the team
