Also, English-language speakers have co-opted the work "otaku" and made it a positive term. Being an otaku is actually a good thing, much like being a Trekkie is a good thing to fans of Star Trek. Very rarely is "otaku" used as a derogatory term in English, since most English-speaking people that know the word are fans of anime.

No i found the movie to be interesting i just found that line funny.
