Simple - if someone were to make a insta-kill unblockable jutsu then it would be overpowered and would then become boring to watch.

Yea but isn't that the case now - Kabuto used the resurection jutsu a forbidden tech created by the 2nd hokage. So I assume that if a jutsu like that was created then many years after it has been created someone like kabuto would gain access to it and wage war. So my point is "Yes" there are honor amongst ninja's but that doesnt hold true to people the likes of kabuto.
Unlike madara or the other hokages and such Kabuto has to use his brain to outmanuever his opponents unlike most who just face it directly.

True, an insta-kill technique would be boring to watch, but it could certainly be used add some tension to the series, think Harry Potter's Avada Kadavra: instant killing, unblockable, and only used by the bad guys. It could be used by an enemy that must be dodged no matter what

Loving Naruto lately, I was so pissed it was being dragged out for so long, but these last 50 ish chapters had me by the strings. The chapter Hinata confessed did me in. This latest chapter where Hinata announces her conviction to herself made me really happy.
Here's to a Naruto x Hinata finish! I'm also glad Sakura only sees Naruto as a comrade and a true friend, this is how I envisioned them to begin with.
I'll rough it out, Naruto may end in the next 100 chapters! Judging by the look of this.

Avada Kadavra is basically a forbidden spell that is unblockable by ordinary means and instantly kills the target. The antagonists of the series are very fond of it
