Mobile Suit Gundam 00 S2 11

I JUST LOVE THE DRAMA BETWEEN LOUISE AND SAJI. XD

In this episode we get to see the rest of Celestial Beings.

After docking with 0-Raiser, 00-Raiser is really unstoppable and surprisingly created a "new-type" effect to all the people in the GN particle area. and after this event Saji will be 0-Raiser official Pilot. :D

Anew Returner is finally showing signs of an Innovator, while Lockon is "approaching her", and I get a gut feeling that Lockon X Anew will really affect the plot.

And I really like 00-Raiser's GN "Halo" :lol:

I Think 00 is getting more and more interesting, and I think it's going to be better than Code Geass R2. :wink:

Only because of the timeslot change crap and that Gundam 00's production obviously left a negative imapct on the animation budget of R2. Anyway, the whole Saji-Louise 00-Raiser psychic connection thing just felt like it was pulled out of fucking no where. And it will fuck up my two favorite characters even further. Sunrise must hate them.

Finally some fucking action right!? Can't wait for this week's episode. :D

Saji and Louise exist to be the "everyman" for the series. They were handcrafted from the very beginning to be the viewer's "identity" in the series, the common, civilians outside the war(in S2 they become entrapped in the war). It's also part of the reason, I believe, so many people don't like them... consciously or subconsciously they don't like seeing the caricaturish character flaws of the two mirroring their own insecurities.

Whenever Celestial Being acted in the world, it had to affect them directly, whether it was the cessation of the Irish hostilities that changed their report in, like, the 2nd ep, or getting caught up in the anti-CB carbombing. They are the palette on which the writers ingrain the trials of war, and as such any time anything happens anywhere, it's their job to stand up to a hail of shite and vitriol so we get to see "War is Bad, M'Kay".

Their evolution to combatants in S2 mirrors the real nature of the evolution of terrorist movements in the face of oppressive occupation. Neither one WANTS to fight, but are drug into combat by remorse and revenge, respectively(each one, however, has chosen a different target of oppression, which is an interesting device to help narrate the duality of ideological conflicts).

[Excuse me for waxing intellectual there for a bit, my sister is a Poli-Sci major going for a Masters, and I convinced her to watch Gundam 00 for the Political Scrambling in the first part... she enjoyed it and we've been dissecting it as we watch.]
