He did try to do one smart thing though, kill Sakura. Oddly enough, Sakura was trying to do something smart (for her anyway) as well, kill Sasuke.

Not much really happened in this chapter besides Sakura's bluff becoming apparent and her not killing Sasuke. Didn't see that one coming.

Looks like it might be 2-3 more chapter's before Naruto even shows up and who knows what will happen by then. Sasuke is really hurt and if he defeats Kakashi it's a bunch of bullshit.

Sasuke may have gone completely corrupt but I am staying by him!!! Sorry if this offends anyone but he has been my fav since day one and I'm sticking with him till the end!!!

kakashi is one of the top ninjas from konoha and the current "official" hokage as he deserves to be... if he dies a second time by the hands of an exhausted sasuke I'm calling every name in the book to Kishimoto. ^^

Sakura needs to stay in the kitchen, what hope does she have against Sasuke if kages failed kill him and even Danzo himself. I also couldn't believe she even had the nerve to bluff her way out after witnessing him about to slaughter another girl without even second guessing anything, plus he's already cut ties with Konoha and Naruto so what better chance does she have to even convince him to join his side? Useless woman, just the way Kishi makes other female characters. [/rant]

What I'm looking forward for is the long awaited fight between master and disciple, the guy who taught Sasuke his fancy chidora moves. I don't care if Kakashi dies or passes out, either way is a inevitable outcome but the thing I want to know is whether how he can par against Sasuke's god mode.

Indeed. I hope this battle doesn't end with a death. I really like Kakashi and I can't see anyone killing Sasuke until at least a Naruto/Sasuke showdown has occurred. Here's to hoping Kakashi can show Sasuke that he's still the boss.

I think they're going to have a good match but naruto will interrupt them.. But I can't wait for the match of kakashi vs. sasuke! Should be pretty epic

Filler chapter. Sakura continues to be lame, which is no surprise.
Would not surprise me at all if Sasuke wins. Kakashi's a good ninja and all, but we've more or less seen what he can do, and Sasuke just seems like the superior fighter. Sasuke's exhausted while Kakashi's fresh though.

Does anyone else think the manga should end after this arc is resolved?

it should have ended ages ago, but since kishimoto is such a fanboy of his own character, thats unlikely to happen

He didn't get much back if any. Even Madara (or however you spell his name) said Sasuke couldn't keep up the bluff much longer.

Prediction: Sasuke fights equally with Kakashi (however stupid it might look with Sasuke's state), then right before one side dealing the "final" blow, Naruto shows up and a lot of shit is going to be told.

i think madara is going to show up, then they leave, then naruto shows up late and hugs sakura...
