Naruto 497

Now that was surprising. I wasn't expecting his mother to ever get any real time in the manga. Also, the entire chapter was pretty good in my opinion. It wasn't quick and easy to defeat the nine tails, and hopefully the insight Naruto's mother gives him will be actually worthwhile. Either way, good chapter.

This is the kind of stuff I can't wait to see animated. I don't watch the Anime often, but for this and currently the Naruto vs Pain battle that is going on, I am definitely watching.

She was. I think she was formerly a rain ninja, actually. I think Tsunade commented that they had the same fighting style at one point.

Liked this chapter. We've had some story told in the previous weeks, now we have a good fight that isn't over in less than chapter. Like Animeholic, I'll be looking forward to seeing this animated. I haven't seen the anime since sometime last year, I think I'll skim through and see what's worth watching.

the ending of the new chapter is kinda random but it a very good way that leaves you wanting to read the next one.

It was an alright chapter, but im not really interested in seeing a gimped Kyuubi fight inside Naruto's mind, i want the real deal out at full power and wrecking shit.

This chapter was awesome, loved the page where you see all those desperate, tormented evil spirit face things and the last page was really a surprised. Didn't think we'd see his mother getting the spotlight. I guess now, we'll get to know a part of her story!

Now his mother comes out, oh great. Naruto's major battles just don't seem to finish without a healthy dose of talking about love, brotherhoood, friendship, yada yada yada. It happend with his battles with Neji, Gaara, Sasuke, Pain, his evil side and now, the nine tails. Come on Kishimoto, I know you can be more imaginative than this.
