I had an argument with my friend on "Who would win, Kakashi or Itachi, from naruto if they both never got their Sharingans?," and we have been arguing ever since. So therefore, I've been posting the question on forums all over the net.

I thought Kakashi would win, or at least they'd be on par, because Kakashi was a prodigy before he even got his sharingan as in Itachi always had to depend on it.

Kakashi's natural lightning and water affimities would always beat itachi's fire and lightning affinities not to mention that without his sharingan he'll have even less jutsu (although you can say that would mean kakashi would have probably not survived this long without it and lose most of his techniques as well.)

if they never got there Sharingans? im going with kakashi. itachi is known for mastering is Sharingan at a young age, which helped him become just an all around badass lol without it his growth would have been slower than kakshi, remember kakashi graduated at age FIVE>.<.

as for kakashi...i kinda think his growth rate was stunted after he received the Sharingan...sure it helped him, but he relied on it far to much and his amazing growth rate slowed....that's just my opinion tho...

That's what I thought, but Kakashi became an Anbu captain at the age of what, 15, and Itachi only specialized in sharingan techniques while Kakashi was a prodigy without it.

Probably Kakashi...he doesn't have over 1000 jutsu for nothing right? though Itachi could wreck his mind with his sharingan in theory.

Itachi. Both were prodigy's in their own way, but Itachi has more control over his sharingan. Also Sasuke almost lost and he is stronger than kakashi. Kakashi may be able to use mangenkyo, but I dont think he stands a chance against ameterasu, tsukuyomi, and susano

You're forgetting that the question says if they both never got their Sharingan.

Given their states if they were at the peak of their power, I'd have to go Kakashi. Not surprisingly, my bro says Itachi.

While I hate Naruto with the burning passion of a thousand suns, I would have to say Kakashi, just because he's one of the few characters I can stand for the shit storm of a show.
