Well as for new Bleach characters there weren't any in the manga, but there were in the anime during the 9th season. These are pretty much all the ones that I could think of, with the help of wikipedia.
Syūsuke Amagai - The new 3rd division captain, but it seems he isn't there that long because he kills himself.
Rurichiyo KasumiÅji - A princess of Soul Society.
Ryūsei "Kenryū" Kenzaki - Her soul reaper assistant.
RuzaburÅ "EnryÅ«" EnkÅgawa - Also her soul reaper assistant.

You can argue he did not know this technique back then, but the fact that Konan told Pain not to use the technique proves otherwise. We also see him using 2 (I think) of the 7 Rinnengan techniques during the fight to avenge Yahiko which leads me to believe he knew all of them.

That doesn't prove anything, she could've just freaked out during the SS attack because she knew it strained his body to the degree that it would take away his life force.
There's nothing indicating that he knew the revival-tech back then, in fact, if anything everything points to that he didn't know it due to the fact that he didn't revive Yahiko.

I see your point. He did get tricked a little easy, but we got to look at some factors. 1. He was a cocky bastard. 2. Naruto could have pulled a fast one on him while Kukuzu was switchin to long range mode. 3. Naruto has gotten a lot better after training with Jiraya.

I love the show anime and manga. Although the anime doesnt have the twitch I usually enjoy in action shows (typical case of a animation of a manga, movies are an exception.). But what I HATE, are the fans of it. You have your fangirls squealing at every panel with Sauske, hell any panel MENTIONING Sauske, you have your overzealous fanboys that argue which nin is better than the other when they dont even state the situations or enviornment, and worst of all, the people who forget to enjoy Naruto! Cant count how many times I've seen people be up-to-date with the plot and all they do is complain.

I am not always satisfied with what we get but most of the time I am. Nothing is perfect right? Naruto the anime if anything will improve. I still watch it for the major story arcs, Since I have read the manga up to date, I don't have to watch every episode of Naruto. Anything they show that I haven't seen or already know about is filler. Naruto the anime isn't always top notch but when they do actually put effort into it the fight scenes are very good production value. If people don't read the manga just because the anime sucks they're idiots.
Naruto the manga is finally showing me what I have always wanted. That is Naruto not getting his ass handed to him every five seconds. As I mentioned in the Naruto manga thread he kicked ass in the last chapter when those ninjas jumped him, Sakura and Sai. Sakura and Sai were shit but Naruto handled it like a pro.
