LOLOLOMFG. That made me laughed. Especially the first one.

Just the broadcast version, as far as I know. Also, to get back on topic, I didn't have much of a problem with the artwork in this episode. The only thing I really laughed about was that whack-a-mole segment about 3 minutes into the episode (counting the OP). Other than that though, I liked it. I think what they were going for with all that 'WTF' with Pain's face was kind of a wind-tunnel effect.

they did this for naruto's fight with sasuke at the valley too

Yup this episode was fucked up big time.I LoL on Pein getting hammered like a nail and Pein smashing to walls.Just like in ROAD RUNNER =.="

With the big fights in the anime they tend to switch to a higher level of animation to please us faggots, the last episode had it (felt un-needed imo.) but this one episode decided to be animated as if they were all made of jelly apparently!

It was pretty distracting, trying to get into the whole action but then pain makes a face that ends up making me laugh.

Only Naruto Shippuden quality.

I watched the new episode today and i also noticed that.

Maybe they were just lazy.


But i have seen it happen before in different animes. Has happened in One Piece too.

This may just temporary .. the artwork will be back to normal sooner or later ..

Reminds me of one of those old American cartoons.

When I say that, I say it is shitty.

I think what happens is anime is already uses over exaggerated expressions and style in the artwork. So when they want to make something REALLY exaggerated because the scene is so charged up and over the top, they have to get creative.

Here, they tried to go into the realm of creativity but wound up popping out the otherside.

That episode was epic, and had epic lulz at the same time

Have you ever seen a dog stick its head outside a moving car's window, with the skin on its face all flapping around? What they were doing was to show how strong the force of the wind coming off the explosions and what-not were, basically hurricane force winds.
