whats the taste of Nasi Goreng?
Well there are many varieties of Nasi Goreng (which translated means Fried Rice).
Fried Rice was originally a cheap way of making a meal out of "left overs". Typically one would nab the left overs from yesterday's dinner throw them in a wok and fry it with rice the next day for breakfast or lunch. Sort of how French Toast was originally for bread that was slightly stale.
A very simple recipe for fried rice would be Spring Onion (chopped), Egg, Rice fried in a wok while being seasoned with Soy Sauce, salt and pepper to one's liking. But you can use whatever you have at hand like last night's sliced beef or some prawns.
