Nothing much happened, I thought it was a bit of a let down. Volcano erupts, they run away, jump into hole, usopp stops rocks falling on them, they get threatened by fish person, luffy says "no way".
I've been waiting quite a few chapters for something interesting to happen, last thing that was any good was maybe meeting coribou, or maybe even as far back as when they got rid of the fake luffy.

Kinda boring chapter. Those Fishmen won't make a difference, mainly because even with those giant sea monsters, they'll all simply fall the Luffy's haki.
Other thing is that the Strawhat Pirates have Jinbei on their side, who I believe is the strongest known Fishman. I'm not even sure what's the point of introducing all these characters. Caribou so far has been proven to be nothing but comic relief. I suppose there won't be any actual challenge for them until the New World.

I agree whit above statement, except you have to factor in that the fishmen have a major advantage in water, but I'll say that wont help much against Luffy, Zorro and Sanji as they are now but it would give them some resistance. However I don't see them getting into a fight at fishman island due to Having Jinbei , Hachi and Camie on their side, plus if I'm not mistaken fishman island used to be whitebeards territory so strawhats should be no less than heroes down there.
I don't see any real challenge until the new world, still some kind of adventure on fishmen island would be nice, the fishmen have had some big parts in the story.
