Hehehe, you can deny it all you want, but episode seven corroborates what I mentioned before. Though Hitsujikai later recants that he didn't "eat her", I'm willing to bet he's lying his teeth off.
In this case, he's probably telling the truth like all the other stereotypical "I'm going to say something solely to piss you off"-type villains. So rather than get angry at Hitsujikai, you should be happy that the anime's writer (or maybe even the author) doesn't have the guts to actually have Ryouko get raped.

@Zero0BK: well, I think of this anime as a fairytale in modern times + anime stereotyping + some zaniness, never mind the fact that all the uniforms they wear are different.
It would be fine if it was just that, but the anime has a tendency to go "OK, I know we just did a bunch of crazy shit, but let's get SRS here guyz!"

It's been a while for me, but I can't remember the last time a saw a CPR scene that actually had to be done, or actually saved the person, or that wasn't an attempt at a first kiss etc.
I think that's the first time in an anime that I've actually seen a female receive CPR that wasn't played up for laughs or sexiness.
