You don't need to have read it to see the hints in the story.
The hints that were already pointed out beforehand.
Except from the information presented thus far in the anime, there's no possible way to arrive at a conclusion. At some undisclosed point in time they grew apart. Or maybe they were "apart" to begin with. And we haven't been given the reason why they grew apart (if they were ever close). Considering this, it's hard to NOT sympathize with Kyousuke even if Kirino was ignored for years "off-screen".
You don't have to arrive at a conclusion to see that Kyousuke was partially responsible. You can't be sure HOW necessarily, but it is easy to see that yeah, he did something.
There is just as much room to sympathize with Kirino as there is Kyousuke. In fact, there is even more room because the major aspect of the story is to watch her growth.
Well all of your Kirino is completely innocent thing makes no sense to me because I haven't read the LN at all. There's been no back story presented in the anime.
You seem to think my point I'm making is that since Kirino is innocent then this why you're wrong.
Um no. The point I was making is Kyousuke isn't some saint that got the short end of the stick. At this point in the story for the anime, you can damn well realize that he is partially responsible for the situation that occurred.
The fact that you keep parading him around like some saint despite this information is annoying.
