Otoyomegatari- A Young Bride's Story

Otoyomegatari is a historical romance manga by Kaoru Mori about a young woman named Amira (20) who marries a boy 8 years younger than her. This story is set in a semi-nomadic village around the Caspian Sea during the 19th century, probably leading to the Crimean War. There are currently 2 volumes with the third in the making.

The first arc is about Amira becoming acquainted with her husband and life around the village. Second arc is about Henry Smith, the British observer traveling to Turkey on the eve of war.

The artwork is absolutely wonderful and detailed, and the story is heartwarming to read.

I've been waiting for more chapters for this series. At one point it had weekly or monthly releases, but now I don't know the status of the manga.

Chapter 19, that's all I can find.

Chapter 19 was chapter 26 in mangafox last time I read it there.

Then again, it is mangafox, with tons of screw ups.

I was reading a Mangareader, Otoyomegatari doesn't exist on MF.

How quaint. MF staff took it out. And yet they still keep AkiSora.
