Got done with Episode 4 today. Must say it's still as awesome as the first episode. Got to hear 1 or 2 songs that I'm looking forward to in the OST. Also is it just me or does anybody else what geek boy (Briefs) and Panty to hook up? The way I see it he must be well hung (his underwear says it all). Panty is bound to love that. Yeah, I just got done watching four myself, and I enjoyed it, as always.

Just got to episode 3 and this anime really isn't what I expected it to be! It's a really great anime! Comedy, fan-services, action, bla bla bla, violent pain! You got it! Especially now that I can't stop listening and watching this >.<

saw episode four today...another funny episode. stocking puts on weight until she is godzilla size then both of them run an underwear mile but the weapons suck thanks to them not taking care of them. all around another very funny episode.

This show is "eh". The first episode is definitely interesting, but there is a huge lack of consistency in the quality of the series up to now (watched up to episode 4 as of writing this).
Let's start with what the show seems to be trying to accomplish. It's specifically trying to be a deviation from recently aired anime, making fun of common devices used in ecchi romance, and daring to animate concepts that no other anime would dare dream of. The first episode shines pretty brilliantly in this department. Parts of the 3rd and 4th episode also do pretty well here, but the problem is every other moment of the show is actually really generic or uncreative, reducing the show to nothing more than a series of misadventures that lacks real cohesion and depth.
Generally speaking, this show is shallow and low on substance. This was presented deliberately in the first episode, since this show is obviously far from serious. That alone isn't necessarily a problem, since there are shows like Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei which accomplish comedy in a brilliant fashion without having huge focus on character/plot development. However this is a big problem for this show because frankly, as a comedy, it's honestly mediocre. Most of the jokes aren't even funny, they just hinge on being crude and random. At least half of the jokes don't actually fit with the situation or show any real creativity. For example I find stuff like Engrish profanity is not funny to me. To me jokes like that are pretty much forced for the sake of filling in where the show deliberately lacks substance or depth.
Production values (animation and voice acting) are pretty good. It was a fairly bold step to choose a more western style approach to animating this show, and I think that part of it is well done. The voice actors do their job pretty well for the most part as well imo.
All in all it's okay. It has its good moments and bad moments. Is it close to being the best show of Fall 2010? Not a chance.

It would've been ok, but the style is too western-ish, and it doesn't fit at all. Anime should stay japanese in every way.

Avatar is not a Japanese production yet they have borrowed heavily from Japanese style animation. Hell, the origin of anime style stems from western origins (Disney anyone?). I just thought I would point that out.
The style perfectly fits the non-serious and lighthearted tone of this series. This series has bigger problems besides the style of animation they've chosen, such as having generally subpar comedic elements.

God damn I'm really enjoying this show, episode 4 kept the quality from last week, I like that the focus on Panty and Stocking is a bit more balanced now. It's also cool to see more from Garter. Also I only recently understood why he was a pedo for boys, I'm too slow >_>'well he's already showing the signs since brief came to their church.lol.

It a good/random change of pace and it really grabed my attention. Also ep 3 was hilarious. Loved when Garterbelt hair exploded and he said tissues are the best lol. I'm about to watch ep4 hope it is as good.
