Prove me Wrong(Pokemon 2)

Did anyone sorta realize that Ash and group's pokemons takes like years to evolve whilst other pokemon trainers evolve faster? Is there a reason for this?

Here is my conclusions to why:

Ash never gets solo exps. Usually when Team Rocket does something stupid or just fights Ash, Misty and Brock must at some point join in and help fight. Thus, Ash never gets solo exps and thus Pikachu never evolves. With that said, perhaps Ash is better off on his own seeing there may be a chance that some of his pokemons may actually get stronger.

Second Conclusion:

Other pokemon trainers know how to ditch their pokemons for better shit. Thats why there is a illusion that their pokemons seem to be stronger but in fact just traded in for better ones.

You can't evolve Pikachu unless you have a Thunderstone. Like, duh.

And Ash regularly trades off his Pokemon lineup between seasons and in season.

But besides Charizard(which he gave away) none of his pokemons actually evolve very fast WTF?

Because he holds down the "b" button while they are evolving.

This. But we all know they have the power to kick any Pokemon's butt.

It's a TV series for kids. They don't have to worry about logic or anything, because 6-year-olds don't give a damn about that. They don't come to these conclusions; they just like the pokemon.

Things happen the way they do in the show for some sort of reason; any "laws" of the Pokemon universe can and will be thrown out the universe. If Ash catches a kind of weak pokemon that is brave (and has a cool evolved form), you can be damn sure that it's going to evolve soon. On the other hand, if Ash has a cute pokemon that loses its cuteness when it evolves, you can be sure that it'll never evolve. That's just the way it is.

Ash is a Main character so his pokemon only evolve after epic battles, or whenever the producers decide that the previous pokemon isn't as pwnage as it used to be. Another benefit of being a main character is access to cheat codes. Ever noticed how ash manages to win 95% of his battles with a single thundershock?

Since the target audience is children, it supposed to show that you don't have to be the best to accomplish great things.

Other than that, Ash needs to go train. He doesn't give all of his pokemon a lot of chances to gain experience points.

Ash doesn't need to train because pikachu is level infinity.

Its cause Ash doesnt let his pokemon go rampage and beat up other pokemons.

Then explain why he can't beat simple beginner trainers with Pikachu. There have been a few instances this has happened.

You guys forgot the time of Lugia. The movie with Lugia where the world has the feirce storm because the balance has been flipped due to the Stones that were taken from the 3 Islands. Lugia says that all pokemon will gather but there is one fault. Most of them gathered, but it was only the older 150 ones. The rare ones never went, such as Dragonite, fossil ones, Mew and all the other rare ones.
Pretty weird.

Oh yeah, Pikachu is level Infinity just like what neko-chan says. The end of the Jhoto League, I'd say that Pikachu is like lvl 100 already. Then he went to hoen and turns back to five. That must mean that if a Pokemon war were to start from the separate regions, the older ones would lose! *Shocker*

Pikachu is like superman. He never unleashes his full strength even when he is losing. Look at the final episode of JLU, superman is like "STFU darksied! I'll kick yo ass when i'm damn well ready Bitch! I've been holding my punches anyways muthafkucer!"

Pikachu has the same mentality. He rather lose then let lose his full power for god knows it may very well destroy the world.

Ignoring the fact that most of Ash's actual "tough" battles are done solo? Ignoring that a ton of Pokemon evolve mid-battle? Anime =/= game. The anime rarely even mentions levels and experience.

They don't evolve because their first stage forms are cute, good, and friends with Ash. And they have to beat the wicked, evil and monstrous better evolved versions! That's so obvious it hurts, lol.

You know what? If you want realistic Pokemon, go read the manga. The anime is for little kiddies. The manga is the real deal.

I agree with this. Speaking of which, Gold is probably one of my favorite characters in the series. Blue would probably be my favorite female character in the series.

I remember the first season, when Ash was allowed to catch more than 5 pokemon and they were allowed to evolve. Ash actually caught enough pokemon to have to send some back to Prof. Oak, remember? And remember the strife he went through with Charizard? That was good. Bulbasaur was the only one of his pokemon that stopped an evolution and only because of it's own desire to stay Bulbasaur. The first season had a reason for every lack of evolution, could present big problems when a pokemon did evolve, and Ash acted like he did want to be the best by catching more pokemon and training more often.

After that though, Ash was allowed to catch enough pokemon from the new lands to fill his 6 pokemon roster and only about 2 were allowed to evolve. Also his Pikachu lost the ability to beat even the simplest of it's opponents after going up against championship level pokemon at the Indigo Plateau, Johto League, etc...

Basically what it means is the Anime is tailored to kids and is for showing that you don't need to be the biggest to be the strongest and that friendship and courage will defeat brute strength and power every time.

So yeah, read the manga, it's way better than the anime.
