Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012)

It's pretty epic so far, I loved the first anime they had made, but this one actually gives you an origin story, I'm on episode 6 so far, and I can't stop watching it <3. This excites me greatly to start reading the manga.

Foreword: I've been watching animes for almost 20 years (when did Macross first air in the US?), I hold everything to a combination of the best (imo) quality series I've seen and enjoyed. So sorry to anyone who finds my opinion, ranting or ratings upsetting.
Infinite Stratos 2..

My Enjoyment: 1/10
I liked the character design of a few characters... That's about it. Other than 2 new female (harem) companions, and 2 identifiable (female, meaning they can be changed good) villains, nothing has changed from the first episode.
Walkure Romance...

Liked character design, and the anime stepped on a few of my "female character personality trait" sweet spots.

The art was nice and I liked Myucel. I liked how they created an entire world with it's own views and customs. I would have greatly preferred the anime to explore these views and customs more. More story and/or character growth/development as opposed to cliches and anime/manga/VN glorification.

It was an anime/manga that had a start that interest me, but after 3 tries, I could never get past episode 8... So I Marathon them all yesterday. I lost track of the stuff I had a problem with. If they had thrown away Kohei (the male lead), and kept the air of the first episode while following Hazuki/Luna, it would have made for a much more interesting anime.
Side note, while I didn't enjoy the anime, I really hate it when companies decide to dub characters with tones and emotional attitudes to other characters that differ from the original.

Maybe action scene that could complement the game would have helped, a lot, since the story is centered around fighting. The lack luster fight scenes really killed it for me... In the end, I picked it up to understand what was happening in the games "true" story, so I'm getting that much out of it.

Last anime I watched to completion was birdy the mighty.I give it an 8/10, it was good enough for me to buy the DVDs, but I won't be getting the blu ray. If you haven't seen it, give it a go.

Miss Monochrome - 6/10 Mildly entertaining for a bunch of (really) short eps.
Outbreak Company - 7/10 I liked this show, but they could've done a lot more with the cultural aspects, rather than the usual-scheming-exploitive-government shenanigans.
Steins;Gate: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu - 9.5/10 Really great 'epilogue' movie, and even though I've only watched the anime, it did more than enough as a revisit and follow-up.
IS2 - 3/10 Blah, aside from new chars (and the occasional Char/Laura hnngh-ness), same old shit. Ichika with his usual denseness-that-creates-a-sigularity-which-inexplicably-attracts-girls crap and a storyline that is left hanging yet again.
Unbreakable Machine-Doll - 7/10 Amusing series with an interesting alternate steampunk fantasy feel, though the harem-setup and recurring jokes does wear down a bit. Also, ED is catchy as fsck.
Galilei Donna - 6/10 Another interesting world-build with this show, though some of the characterizations fell flat or even regressed at times. Still, where else can you find a mecha goldfish?
Tezuka Osamu no Buddha: Akai Sabaku yo! Utsukushiku - 5.5/10 This movie supposedly explores the world and setting where prince Siddhartha was raised (prior to his journey to enlightenment and becoming Buddha) and while the portrayals are harsh, a number of sub-plots feel awkward or just completely irrelevant to the main plot. And some transitions seem less justified and characterizations are a mixed bag.

The last anime I watched to completion was Hellsing Ultimate (re-watched actually, but it still counts). 9/10. The visual style is fantastic and it's a very faithful adaptation of the manga. I just think the voices could have been done a little better for some characters.
The only series I'm currently watching is the new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, 10/10. I love the manga and this new series is like literally watching the pages come to life. No issues, it's superb. The first episode of Part 3 airs on the 4th of April and with any luck they'll keep going after that. Though it may take a few years, I may yet see an animated version of Steel Ball Run (Part 7). [size=8](perhaps I could freeze myself to make time flow faster...)[/h]
