another series coming out this January that I'm quite interested with...
synopsis: Ride Back tells the story of a girl and her "Iron Horse" robot motorcycle in 2020, a tumultous time of anti-goverment student protests.
MadHouse Studios' responsible for this anime adaptation that's slated to have 12 episodes.
Mizuki Nana is also voicing Rin Ogata (the lead char. of the series)
~reminded me of WHITE ALBUM since the character that Mizuki Nana's portraying there is named Rina Ogata...lol! coincidence??
here are some trailers:
I'm not sure yet if this'll feature "RACING" but based on the previews... it might...(I also haven't read the manga yet)
btw, for those interested, HERE is the official site!
I wasn't expecting to like ths, but the first episode was pretty cool. It's definately one of the series I'm looking forward to now.
I'm glad to hear that coming from the legendary tsujoi. lol!
I'm not alone anymore in following this series!
The truth is, when I first heard about this series(around September) I honestly thought that it was gonna be like a kiddy show. There wasn't really any info about this at all at that time... but when I finally saw some trailers, I felt that this series has potential. I think it's gonna be worth watching.
btw, ep1 is already out and subbed by Infinite-Zero (I-Z subs)!
~give it a shot~ (not ecchi but definitely MUCH better than akikan...in every category!) 8)
If this baby keeps the production quality level of ep 1, I have a winner for this season. It outgrew the already high expectations I had of it.
I might just be in love :P

Yea this is definitely an anime I am gonna love(same with "White Album," although it may just be Nana Mizuki lol )
wonder who needs a bike anymore when these are around i mean a slight modifying they can be use to scale buildings like Air Gear , dear god of anime grant use these marvelous vehicles please. ^^ 8)
the bikes are really cool but I am confused as to the state of the world. was it really taken over by a terrorist group or did i miss something
I have understand that the world is controlled by a military organisation that is called GGP.
And the Terrorist attack all time building from this organisation.
I can be wrong ... ;)
Spoiler:
I think the Terrorist are students that find out that GGP do something bad (I don't know what).
And later will Rin Ogata join the terrorist ^^.
That is only what i think.

My initial thought was the other way around as yours. She'd probably be drafted into the GGP organization to fight against the terrorists. I never saw it the way you did but it's actually quite possible to happen. Nice thinking! :D (If it turns out the way you thought it would, I'd +rep you, again)
Spoiler:
Anyway, even though you're not very fluent with English, I'm glad to see you quite active in the forums. Hope you'd continue to do so especially here in the "Anime Discussions" section. (where the f'ck did you incur those -reps anyway?)
I have changed perspective accordingly to the series' developments, ever since I saw ep4.
