Rideback 6&7 - no place left for neutrality

So yeah - ep 6 was so damn good that I decided not to wait for Frostii and watch 7 immediately (blame teh fanboy in me).

While I do hate GGP with every fiber of my being and will enjoy Rin eventually dancing ballet on their graves, I must admit ... they're an impressively evil, ruthless and organized opponent. Hell - the only thing that seems a bit unrealistic is the utilization of the rides in armed interventions.
The time for Rin to truly make a stand is growing closer and it seems that she might indeed join with the BMA (I don't think of them as your everyday good guys but they sure seem a hell of a lot better than the GGP). For now I enjoy her nicely portrayed mental struggles and doubts.
The background characters served as a nice ... background - funny, caring and forgettable. Tamayo and Okakura are the only ones that truly matter at this point and the latter's unfolding past is getting especially intriguing.

The production quality is still breathtaking and I truly enjoy the show developing the story (and Rin) without wasting a minute of screentime. There are some cliche and generic aspects to it but making you forget those (or preventing to notice at all) is what signifies great titles.

As stupid as Kenji can be in this episode, well I couldn't really blame him for doing what he has always dreamed of. But thanks to him, his sis is now put in a much greater distress. :x WTF! Kenji, WTF! - I already smelled something fishy about those people from the previous ep... yet here we have Kenji, who even saw that there's no manufacturer's logo on the engine... WTF, Kenji?! (seriously)

Just the way how I like my villains to be! That's how a military force should be - aggressive, forceful, thorough and dominant (shoves everything out of their path) most importantly, "Unstoppable." (not necessarily evil, but has a firm determination and an unbendable sense of righteousness.

I do agree that in a series such as this, those things could easily go unnoticed. (though I wonder, is there even a need to bring up cliches and being generic nowadays?) :roll: - is there even a series out there that one can truly call original? (of course not) cliche is inevitable may it be in anime or even irl. There's just no significance when you bring about that (accursed) term while talking about how amazing this series is. (it only gives off a negative thought) - I'm not really arguing, but rather suggesting you to refrain from using that ugly word. (esp in an anime like this) - seems like I've cliched my statement. :lol:

Haven't seen 7 yet so I'd hold off from mentioning something about the topic-title. Based from the preview, the siblings are apprehended and most probably were taken into custody. Rin behind bars doesn't look good to me, while it appears that (stupid) Kenji is being questioned. (tyvm Kenji for the wonderful predicament) :x

Though it might be safe to say that Rin wouldn't be a part of GGP, I'm still doubtful that she'd just jump right over to BMA without a moments hesitation. Rin is only but a typical girl with hardly any intentions of being involve in such matters (pure bad luck) if one may blame it on. The question is what or who is going to push her to choose a side? (does she really have to) - that's why I've said I needed to see ep7 first.

Thanks for the compliment but actually, I'm quite an introvert myself. I'm not really a people person who's good at talking with others, socializing and all, etc, etc. I'm not much of a good communicator either, as well as I'm not really that fluent in English verbally. I'm just slightly better when it comes to expressing myself in the form of writing.
(I simply put much effort into it) - that's all. :)

How about you theotaku, are you even watching this series?
I guess not since if I'm not mistaken, you're only able to watch .avi files on your ps3. (and Frostii nor any other sub groups, who work on this series, for that matter don't release their subs in avi format) :(
Don't fret though, if I'm not mistaken, there exists a re-encoding group
who does convert one sub group's release into xvid format.

I have the first episode my computer. Though I have yet to watch it. I'm waiting to get my own computer/laptop so I won't just be limited to avi's on my ps3. :P

What shut I say ..
I can only say this anime is amazing ;)

It get deep in my hearth and has the perfect atmosphere.
It united aesthetic and action.

And this is nearly impossible then every action mean it give chaos.
But there is no chaos in the movement of Rin.
It is a perfect combination from the elegance of ballet and the fast movement of motorcycle race.

I hope that rin soul will not destroy because of this fight.
Sometimes I have feeling she is like a perfect sculpture from a swan but she made out of glass.
I mean something like this:




So she can easy broken if you don t know how to handle her.
But she looks perfect and all that watch her motions get fascinated from her elegance.

The deep problem will be her Brother that is in the hand from GGP.
Will her Brother die and stronger her soul ?
Will she save him ?
Or will her brother fight for GGP after he get a Brainwash ?

And the last Question for me is:

Who is Rin father ?
Sometimes i get the feeling there a bond from General of GGP and her.
(and the white haired guy .. same unit ?)
And the only think what it can be is her dad.

Can it be that her dad was a friend of him ?
A Soldier ? That is why she hate war and death ?
That is why GGP don t say Rins name in the media ?
Why else the General try to save Rin ?

Well, it seems like the plot so far is to overthrow GGP, but I wonder if it will be more complicated than that. Wonder if they'll try to completely gut GGP out or just replace the head guy with someone else.

Also, epi 8 is out for those that didn't know.

Look at the mess you've done Kenji... I'd give you a much deserved credit though for toughing it out as a man, most importantly for your sister. 8)

It's really getting onto the good stuff.

Rin has been driven into despair with all of the incidents she never would have imagined that she'd ever get entangled with. What choice does she have left? (join BMA's ranks perhaps) I surely would have wanted to see what GGP has in store for her though it rather was inevitable that BMA would take action with regards to the matter. It was also nice to see "Goblin" back amongst the living. And what exactly do we have here... Kiefer and Rin, I smell romance in the air. :lol:




And in all seriousness, it was good to see the gang keeping the faith strong and having a bit of fun for distraction. (love their gadgets) I just wonder if they'd get themselves further involved and if so, how? Especially Tamayo whom Okakura entrusted Fuego with...
