A week late but I finally watched it.
I also concur - an excellent ep.
The producers seem to be fully aware of the limited number of episodes they have to spare and things are moving forward in a rapid pace. It's as if all the racing never happened as we got thrown into a military intervention all of a sudden with a gorgeous (albeit insanely reckless) Rin in the middle.
The bond developing between her an Fuego got some attention as well though I'm not sure whether I like this aspect of the series that much...
Once again I'm surprised that this series gets so little feedback. It's as excellent as it was in ep 1 or possibly even better...

you wanna know why?
it could only be either that nobody's watching it at the moment or nobody simply wants to make a comment about it. That's all there is to it.
take me for example, let's say that I do watch Toradora and Clannad. But I prefer to not talk about it cause I could easily say some things that others could easily take offense upon. (I honestly don't like both series that much, obviously)
about some series that I do quite like, it's just that I can't keep up due to my schedule. There are also some occasions wherein everything that I'd like to say has already been said beforehand. What's the point of merely quoting a statement. Like the time when I tried to make a post at xam'd26, after reading yours and blind_assassin's posts, I simply felt like there's nothing left for me to say... :roll: (I only ended up creating a summary of the episode)
and let me ask you btw, you watch Michiko to Hatchin right? How come you haven't posted a single word on the ep15 thread then, if you're really concerned about such series that's being neglected? I'm sure you have legitimate reasons and I want to believe, so are the rest. Let's leave it at that.
No matter how much we'd wish for it, we couldn't possibly force other users to post on the threads that they don't want to. Let's leave them be at the Random/IB (for eternity). They probably just couldn't hold their ground with such a level of discussion. :lol: (wouldn't you agree?)

Makes some sense I guess. Still - there's a ton of stuff to discuss on Rideback and nearly no effort on doing so. I'm just surprised since the initial series introduction topic (your's if I'm not mistaken) was fairly popular.
As for the other two issues : I've fallen behind on Michiko (I prefer AonE on this one) and Frostii was recently reporting some internal problems and the possibility of further delays so I decided to give the new group, who picked up from ep 4 a chance. They ain't so bad BTW...
edit : Frostii just rolled out ep 4 - time for some side by side comparing :P

Just watched this epi, was waiting for I-Z to release, but got tired of waiting.
This epi we learn that one guy in the club is a badass rideback soldier.
Terrorist guy spouts some mumbo jumbo about Fuego choosing Rin.
Rin has another orgasm on Fuego and see's a light.
GGP have really bad aim.

Got tired of waiting for I-Z as well. Guess I'd follow Frostii's releases from now on.
This episode showed why MadHouse is one of the best if NOT the BEST anime production studios there is right now. (I'm a huge FAN) 8)
tsujoi pretty much sum'd this episode up. While GGP is obviously just the "typical" military org, BMA is practically just a terrorist org against it. Although both org's objective is unclear yet, as far as I'm concerned, neither can be considered as "good."
seems like Rin's already caught in the middle... (as the next ep preview suggested) I doubt that she'd stay "solo" for long. And knowing that Tamayo's brother works under GGP's newly appointed Commander, she might become an influential factor later on.
I like the gutsy female journalist. :wink:
