Rock Lee from Naruto, whatever happened to him? He don't use his super fast speed anymore (how I see it). After fighting Gaara, oh man, he just went downhill... to me.

He hasn't appeared in anything significant from what I remember since the inflitration of the Akatsuki but that was like in the beginning of Shippuuden. Actually it seems that all the characters are very strong given with that amount of a time leap. I'm going to agree that he seems a bit slow now. Doesn't seem weird that chuunin, jounin and the other higher ups are able to die within a couple of blows and they aren't aware of their surrounds? Must be protected be protected by the character clause.

But it was stated in the manga that the current generation of ninjas are all geniuses or overpowered. We have Sasuke and Naruto who are two of the strongest ninjas in the world, Rock Lee and Guy who inspired Bang Shishigami, well the other characters are cool too but I cant find anything to say about them.

Gaara crushed his leg/legs/whatever it was so he can't put too much stress on his muscles and all that jazz, henche = no more über speed.

He's likely too have been surpassed in speed by alot of characters by now though.

But Tsunade fixed him up with her mad healing powers. Though he probably has been surpassed by a lot of other charterers now... Oh poor lee, how the badass have fallen,

He only needs a reason to take off his leg waits and use the 8 inner gate. I believe its when he's, "protecting something precious to him". When does he protect sukura? Is it a anime only event?

Bad artwork? It's by no means seinen level, but it's consistently good, with some awesome psread now and then.
