Sacred Seven

Can't say I didn't like the action scenes, but it seems that its another anime with OP'd warriors and such, where they can crush the cities at will, which I don't usually enjoy (Shakugan no Shana is excluded though, lol).

But other than that, it was pretty good, liked the maids lol, snipers and all, even blocking roads, IRL needs all that.... err... I doubt we'll have something like that happening anytime soon...

I kinda Ruri was the ojou-sama type, but oh well... maybe its always good like that.

All in all, it was good enough for me to follow the series.

It's interesting that we basically get a double-dose of the "We've known each other for a long time now" backstory. Granted, it's not that far back with the other girl, but the feeling seems to be the same. I wonder if the crystal Arma wore acted as a restraint on his powers. Then again, he didn't seem to have it in the flashback with Ruri when he seemed to have decent control over his powers. Also, I found it funny that Hellbrick could produce physical emotes, which he then used to show the enemy's weakness.

honestly I am now going to be expecting some doujins of Hellbrick fucking Ruri, or school girl characters with his emotes, or something like that, just seems like being able to produce physical emotes opens up a door of possibilities now.

I might actually be giving this show less credit than it deserves. I figured that Knight would be an obnoxiously evil character and that Arma would blindly follow Odysseus' Kenmi's orders. It's a setup similar to Scryed's, except these characters show some restraint. Arma is more curious as to Knight's motives, and Knight doesn't seem to be interested in hurting anyone other than Kenmi.

Also, that new girl has a nice ass. Those denim short-shorts look so good on her.

From what I can see, that Kemni guy is probably not up to any good... or maybe he is? Either way, it probable that Knight and his sister won't be the bad guys in the end.

Also, about Knight's sister, I am interested to see her powers, or should I say, her transformed form.

And lastly, Ruri's butler's mecha robot thingy seriously sucks...

I agree ... to an extent. I still think it is useful. Its ability to disengage parts and be outfitted for the occasion certainly makes it at least somewhat effective against the Darkstones.

I'm rather surprised again. I thought this episode would play up a rivalry between Arma and Kagami, but it didn't. Instead, it had them doing some nice teamwork. Also, poor Ruri not even knowing what that drink is for. Did Kagami know what the drink was? He did do something at the start of the episode that looked like he was trying to come on to her or something.

Hell, yes! Beach episode is next!

Good thing the people didn't know that Arma is a 7 and also they think it's cosplay. I lold when they say that.

I didn't expect Arma and the butler to end up working together on catching a small and weak darkstone, but it seemed to had turned out well. It was nice how the butler catered for his Mistress's happiness, but keeping the darkstone a secret just had to fail in the end... v_v

This episode really brought out Ruri's cuteness, I must say, its making me more and more interested towards her! +_+

Although... those crystal/precious stone costs so much, and to top it off, they are rare (assuming it after seeing an auction for it), wouldn't it be that Arma can only transform only a few times within his whole lifespan? Or am I wrong and that these stones are actually mass produced?
