Saki epi 1

This is about Mahjong. High school girls + 1 noob guy. That's all you need to know....and all I know...


This is Saki, our main character.






She notices this girl walking behind her.



Saki might be a lesbian.



Saki's friend invites her to play Mahjong at the club. She hates Mahjong btw.




We're introduced to a taco loving girl. I think she might be a lesbian as well because of her abnormal need for tacos.




They play a round or two when this girl wakes up.




The student pres..congress member notices something that the others haven't. Saki has been +-0 every round on purpose!



To confirm this they play again the next day. A new character introduced, another member of the club.



Taco girl again. Making me hungry for tacos.



They play for awhile and then Saki's all like "Eat it bitches!"

I don't know anything about mahjong but I find this show entertaining nonetheless.

And it's got absolutely nothing to do with Nodoka... Nope. Nothing...
:lol:

But really it's a decent show when I feel like watching something relaxing.

And episode 2 has been out since Sunday btw.

For me it's Taco Girl or Class Pres...not sure which...leaning towards Class Pres...

Wait there's oppai? That's enough to make me take a glance.

IT's really hard to understand all those mahjongg stuffs in one episode...

Yeah, the one I d/led has two sub tracks. One with mahjong terms and one without. It helped a bit.

I downloaded from underwater subs too, but the notes doesn't really help. I have to play it myself to understand the whole thing. And I still suck at playing...

Well there are about 3 different ways to play mahjong, not sure what
version the anime is basing it off, so ill have to give it a watch and see.

Moe Mahjong thats what I call this anime. I too was pretty confused by the Mahjong term, I think they went in kinda fast with all the explanation. Last time when watching Akagi I had a friend who would explain about the game while watching it together.

Oh yeah I even downloaded Leaf's game Fullani (eromahjong game) because of this episode. I wonder if this will keep me motivated in learning mahjong. :)

Yeah, I'm thinking of picking up Mahjong as well. Maybe I'll understand better, but I doubt it. It looks pretty complicated.

Maybe I should ask my grandma to teach me how to play it... I would certainly like to learn the know-hows. The entire season of Akagi and a certain episode of xxxHOLiC Kei couldn't be of any help at all. :lol:

Despite being on the same boat as everyone else (with regards to the game), I'm quite enjoying the series to be honest. Like I've said before, I don't know how much Gonzo could fail "again" in this one... but so far so good, I guess. You have gotta love those characters! (there's no way in hell anyone wouldn't) :D

I've already seen episode 2 btw; what's with Saki's mom? Is she some sort of a famous personality/celebrity? Seems like there's gonna be a "family" side story to this... (I'm sensing a potential fail) :roll:

To keep it short, there are two points I would like to make:

Point #1: I am watching this anime for Nodoka's tits. Ok, not really, but for the other schoolgirls too. :D

Point #2: We should have a mahjong gathering session. After some time, we will become experts at the game.

P.S. I know how to play mahjong, but my local rules differ slightly from that of the Japanese. Some winning suits of the latter may not apply to the local style of play.
