No no no, I understand that but i was referring to the TWO minuses that you put there - (-Negative), I mean only one minus is needed since all negative numbers already have a minus before them.

Real life tsunderes irritate me, but the ones in anime are okay (with the exception of Asuka, she is just too bitchy for my taste). The explanation in the OP make sense. While Tsuns aren't my cup of tea, I can understand why people like them.

I imagine there may also be the whole 'I must be special, then' aspect to it, as well.

That may be true, but when does that happen in anime? One of my favorite images is the dere scale with the best part being the normal relationships which is labeled as "hypothetical".

This reminds me of a guy who was on my rugby team back in high school. When i first met him i thought he was a total dick and never wanted to talk to him, but when i got to know him i realized he was really only a dick to people he didnt know or people who deserved to be treated poorly.
