who the fuck cares about story when you've got a shitload of pure epic ass-kicking material for sheer viewing pleasure...i know i don't...anymore...
I.G.'s definitely raising the bar on GAR...and its raising it higher than ever before...the sudden shift on animation styles(during the fight between 2-spears and 6-swords, which i think both are kinda overrated...) was a bit awkward but nevertheless spectacular in its resemblance to EPICZTTGL...some say that it won't measure up, but i say fuck what they thought, i still love it.period...and not just for the action...but also Kasuga's instant-orgasms, Takeda's wall-galloping horsies, Yukimura's passionate shout-outs of loyalty while getting pwned in the face, Musamune's irritating cockiness, Mr.Fabulously-Evil's intimidating yet extremely corny music themes, and pretty much every bit of leftover ridiculousness there is to the show...
ah well, might as well take a breather and watch Eden of the East now...

Anyway, the episode delivered yet again with its stunning fight/action sequences which highlighted "ROUND 2" of the clash between Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura. The flashes of their respective blue and red "aura" sure was a mix of contrast and beauty. Unfortunately, they failed once more to settle their differences as Oda Nobunaga and crew totally stole the show from them.
Well, the series albeit historical in setting, still gives much emphasis on "supernaturally exaggerated" fights so a bit of "ludicrousness" is just to be expected. WTF! Horses capable of running vertically across the castles walls! It was rather cool nonetheless. The most ridiculous shit I've seen was probably Hojo's imperial general Ujimasa who was sporting a fuckin stale and sickly horse...!? :lol:

While I do agree with "this" (to some extent), the fact remains that I was very amused with what I've seen thus far, making me care less about such minor aspects either way. Whatever, Nate pretty much wrapped it up.
