Shigofumi

I just finished Shigofumi today, and I thought it was really good. It's about a girl named Fumika who delivers Shigofumi or letters from the afterlife. Her partner is a talking staff named Kanaka who is pretty funny. It starts off with Fumika delivering shigofumi to people and there's stories around it. However you start to wonder about Fumika and how she became a mail carrier. The series has a depressing atmosphere as it revolves around death and hard times, but there are light-hearted moments and it's very moving at times. If you are looking for a good watch I highly recommend this series, and its only 12 episodes.

I'll agree with you on this one, I only watched the first two episodes but I was literally on the edge of my seat.
