does anyone like slam dunk ?!?! its my fav, i bought almost 30 issues a couple years ago when i went to visit the philippines. does anyone know where i can order some online or if the carry it here in the US ? also, quick noob question that doesnt really have anything to do with this topic but um, what exactly defines a manga, also what is a dojinshi ?

Manga is the Japanese word for comics so it is any japanese comic.
Doujinshi is just fan made comics some are H some are not.

I first read Slam Dunk quite a few years back, and these days, I still find myself browsing through the copies available at the local library. Although I am unable to pinpoint what attracted me to the series, I would assume it is the realistic aspect of the sport portrayed in the manga, where no exaggerated moves are used and where the "main" team is capable of losing at times too.
