So I just found out something that sucks...

When I was looking to see when the next episode of Naruto Shippuuden was supposed to come out, I was looking at the wikipedia article and apparently Shippuuden HAS found a broadcaster here in the U.S. BUT... the broadcaster is DISNEY!!!! So you all know what that means, no cussing, blood, smoking, pretty much all the good shit will be edited out. It's great that they finally found a broadcaster but DISNEY?!?! Come on!! (I don't know how they're gonna air the Hidan & Kakuzu arc.)

Any way, what do you guys think about this?

Haha, you said wikipedia. Naruto Shipppppuuuuupupupuden was supposed to air last year in the fall on Cartoon Network but that was exactly when Toonami died and just died along with it. I wouldn't trust that thing. Viz wouldn't do that, or more likely they couldn't do that.

Honestly, I wouldn't really watch it due to the massive, "HAAAAAAAAAAA! I'M STANDING IN AN EPIC STANCE FOR 5HOURS." and overall not great quality but don't take my word for it.

Well I heard its will air on Disney XD, Sure there will be censorship and editing, but hopefully they wont change everything. Since XD is more of a teen (and up) channel... Hell I lost my train of thoughts.

Dosent matter if disney airs it,If someone begins to get fed up with edits and censorship, just pop online and continue where you left off. Hey, disney may even tempt some to log onto fakku for a change!

I wonder if they are gonna use their own dubs or not. It doesn't really matter to me since I'd rather watch the sub ones.

They had it on YTV before, I wonder why they can't do that again. There was mild censorship, and minor blood reduction, but it still kept it's awesomeness.

I dont get it. We viewers (most maybe) demand to see blood, violence and such in most of the things we watch. So why not give the viewers what they demand?

I think it's mostly because a lot of the powers that be are still under the impression "ooh... all cartoons are for little kids and dey shouldn't have all dis bad stuff in it 'cause it would warp their fragile wittle minds."

These days, Little kids are corrupted even without seeing violence in shows.

like it or not "us veiwers" are in the minority of veiwers to which disney has traditionally brodcasted to. It wouldnt make sence for them to appeal to the fewer veiwers to get money out of it.

Yeah, I know for a fact that Viz has the rights for it here in the U.S. and they always do a good job. Maybe you're talking about Britain or Canada cause I think that they've done Naruto for those countries.

They just have words that are a rude way of saying things. There aren't any "swear" words like in english. If you understand where english swear words come from, you'd understand why.

Even though I don't like watching Naruto anymore, being aired by Disney would kill the series cause Naruto is based off killing other ninjas. The Hidan and Kazuku arc is already bloody as it is even with Hidan's beheading heavily censored. Those parts would probably be cut completely or the whole arc omitted. But I dunno which is worse, Disney or 4Kids.

Shippuden is gonna be the new One Piece, where they replace cigarettes with lolipops etc.
