I liked this series, it brings the sky closer to you ^ ^
Synopsis :
Sola's story revolves around Yorito Morimiya, the main protagonist, who is a young boy attending high school. He loves taking pictures of the sky at any time of day and any time of the year. One day, Yorito decides to take a picture of the sunset overlooking the bay, but is deterred when he meets a strange girl trying to force a vending machine that stole her money to give her what she tried to buy — a can of tomato soup. Yorito helps her with forcing the machine while attempting to strike up conversation with her, despite it being four in the morning. Yorito tells her why he is here, but by the time he has forced the can out of the machine, the girl has mysteriously vanished.

For a time I was considering introducing the series myself ...
Nothing epic but a good watch gaining substance and momentum as it progresses. The characters were kinda generic from time to time but I liked them nonetheless. The audio/visual makeup was very good. Nice amount of twists and drama near the end.
Definitely more than I expected at the beginning..
For all Air/Ef fans out there ... though inferior.
Which is why I watched it, and liked it, Matsuri's hat is why I liked her so much. I am not gonna try to defend this series but like u said it for fans of Air/ef etc, so if you watched those and liked em, definitely give this one a chance.
Sola was interesting. Started watching it after I watched School Days I believe. Caught eye of it when it popped up on the "more videos from user" playlist.
This is one anime that I really like, and the "plot twist" was a SUPER PLOT TWIST, that shocked me all through that episode. Couldn't see that coming.

That have to be ep 9??? I was in shocked too...
This and ....*Lunar Legend Tsukihime* gave me a good shock with their twists.
yes I watched both of the OVA, the first is a fan-service onsen episode and the second is the prequel to episode 1 or you can say it's episode 0.
:D
I had higher expectations from those 2. While there's not-a-thing wrong with a onsen special (hell - each anime should have one !) I hoped they would elaborate a bit on what happened after the final ep and
