Something that bugs me...

In anime, when someone is talking especially hard or excitedly, their whole head shakes to emphasize it. I hate that shit, nobody does it in real life.

What about you guys, are there any other dumb little things that happen in anime that bother you (and possibly only you)?

- Artists can't bother drawing proper noses because it would make the face look un-cute
- People shutting their eyes unnaturally in certain facial expressions
- Catgirls, which I admit are really pretty/cute with certain character designs, but a little too common a trope for my liking

Haven't seen this in anime, but in western cartoons:

Objects that are in the background but which are part of an animation scene stand out texture or color wise. Like you have a very detailed wall, and a door that is drawn with much less detail because some characters use it.

after watching enough anime, it just becomes a non-issue, for me at least
