(assuming that she even loves Tomoki in that way).
Can we expect a warm embrace next?
Actually, now that you mention it, where did she learn about holding hands and kissing? I mean, she lacks human common sense to where she acts according the off-hand remarks of strangers ("To lie is in human nature."). Does she know what those 'interactions' even mean?

..that she sees on tv
angeloids wanting to be with someone may be different from us humans
Wow, did I just get battered?
I cannot really say for certain. I'm well aware that while it isn't necessarily the "love" as we know it, we cannot outright deny that Ikaros "likes" her current master, a little beyond normal (even for an angeloid), since the unlocking of her memory.
Also, she takes in not exactly every "off-hand remarks" or gestures, just those she deem could win her her master's affection/approval; she yearns for it as she desperately wants to remain by his side that she does every-so this-and-that for the sake of his wishes.
I'm getting nowhere fast but in Ikaros finding more "freedom" as seen from her "self-ish" actions/desires as of late, fundamentally speaking, the anime is trying to project love in one form or another. If you believe there are other reasons to believe otherwise, please do explain them to me.
EDIT: Actually, wouldn't it be safe to assume that she's a quick learner? She's adapted and has become more human in just 3 episodes since. Else it's just her expressionless face that needs more work.

us can only sing praises for this anime again and again til we are tired of it :D
This reminded me of church all of a sudden. I kinda have such a longing feeling for not being able to attend mass regularly but that's that. It's not like this series is GOD or anything above all else. If anything, it's just the "wording" I guess.

I can, but not for the shallow reasons people were thinking of earlier.
This really crack me up. I don't think you've got such a horrible sense of humor after all.
Thanks, but don't worry, I won't let it go to my head.
That was actually me, being more sincere than you think.
