Abe's either running a conspiracy with the church and is just using Horo and Lawrence as pawns or she plans on selling Horo, but she isn't planning on getting her back. Abe seems to have a hidden agenda even if her stone statue venture has dried up, she's still able to transport salt, so why does she need Horo to obtain a profit? It may be a huge profit of course, but i think there's more to it.

Touching a woman's tail is like rape, Lawrence! Don't you watch Utawarerumono?! Also, when Abe said "It's a Rebellion" I was like "It's Spice+Wolf II Lawrence of the Rebellion". All hell is about to break loose.

I haven't a clue when season three will emerge, but I do agree with you. The ending was fantastic. I was so pleased that Lawrence finally confessed to Horo, and it felt so naturally. Horo's reaction was spot on as well, as she, a great wolf, would never admit that she loved anybody.

I also was surprised that Abe turned out to be a traitor, but I'm glad Lawrence got his priorities together and made the right decision, (but got really beaten up before that!) I hope Horo's at least a little nurturing and will tend to his wounds. :)
