Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto

At the end of Episode 4 Takuto came to a decision, to destroy all the cybodies, he wants to free Wako from her "Island Prison" now after hearing that I thought that perhaps the next episode would have had more to do with that, or something close to it. But, it just seems like this episode payed no mind to Takuto's earlier words. I was just kind of curious what were some of your opinions on the matter

Saw episode 6...hm i didn't know takuto carried a watch either...special day? EEEEEHHHH!?!?! a date?! well its about time, though i figured Takuto would be the one to ask Wako. "If you want to buy something dirty, I can wait outside" i laughed at that line. lol Takuto ate the three stack ice cream all in one bite...mega brain freeze! so sugata hates his birthday because he bears a mark and knows about the cybodies? i don't think thats a legit reason to hate your birthday, the king cybody...i get the feeling that the king cybody and tauburn will face off in the coming future. daaaaamn Miss Kanako is freakin hot! whoa whoa whoa whoa what does this chick have against Wako...oh boy takuto asked the question "you like sugata don't you?", the music during that scene reminded me of Lugia's theme from pokemon 2000. wow what a beautiful song for Wako to sing...oh snap is that the first level of the cybody!? dude its like terminator form. Did Takuto just be a first level cybody? and with out summoning his cybody? oh shit....its like a terminator army! oh wow another cliff hanger? damn it i want more...i want to know what happened. all in all another good episode.

Having Sam kill the girl to pilot the ship was certainly the surprise. I'm wondering how far the parallel between Takuto and Sam will run.

What bothers me is not only how fast Sugata woke up after being unconscious, but also how/if he was affected by that girl's phase 1 ability. Also, I find it unlikely that Cybody is Samekh. Even if Sugata woke up, that doesn't mean that the Cybody was magically repaired. We have not heard anything more about repairing Cybodies yet either. A King should be able to order his Warriors around so it might be a random Warrior Cybody.

hmm, it's interesting to think of it as parallel, but I'm enjoying the Sam story as itself tbh. 8D I find it very enjoyable, all the more because of Sam story = Head moments! <33

And man, from ep 7... I can't help but think of Head as some kinda nihilistic guy who don't really have any reason to keep going. How seriously he feels the story... that's not very normal.

Yeah, he wakes up way too soon. Time-wise it's no better than a long sleep. So much for no one ever wakes up, gainax. About Scarlet Kiss... hmm, seems similar to the guy in EP2. :3 I agree that might be random cybody. Or rather, I hope so. And Sugata seems to be third phase alright. So everyone with a mark is in third phase eh. Stupid Takashi. ~_~

I also agree with you that Sugata woke up way to early, the series is going to be around 24+ episodes right? At least 1 full episode of him gone could have sufficed right? Also that Cybody we see in the latest preview I am also hoping isn't Sugata's.

My question is when will Takuto have to fight Sugata? Other than "Head" I still don't see any main antagonist, if you guys do please tell me, or drop hints as I am lost as to who is the main villain here. Will the climactic final battle be between Takuto and ???? (is it going to be some twist and he'll have to fight Wako or something)

Sam's story, while I lack the ability to analyze it and contrast it to Takuto, I did get this unsettling feeling when Sam was given the ship with that harsh condition.

In addition, when will we see any other Maidens, I feel like the show is progressing, but slowly which I don't hate, but I wouldn't mind being introduced to a new character potential Maiden unless (in my inability to see in depth) we've already seen them that is.

I dunno how many episodes this will be. lazy to check. But 13 is too little. Hoping for 24-27, or more depending on the plot progression.

The way I see it, there's no "main" villain in this, at least not yet. It's just that Kiraboshi~ is just doing their mission, the revival of cybodies and takuto butting in because who knows why. ~_~ Sure it seems as if Kiraboshi is going for the classic world domination thing, but I think we still know too little to say much. Also Head hardly fits the main villain role at all. He's just an innocent man in love... <3

About the maidens... yes, if Kiraboshi is going to break the seals, then undoubtedly we'll see East and West (I assume) maidens soon enough. Meh, not that they'll be cuter than North maiden anyway. XP

True I honestly don't see Head being a threat, but maybe if something were to happen to his caged maiden? I really wish we had a name to go with her however, does she have one? Does the official site list it?

Not having a leading villain is just odd, I guess I am just so used to it. I don't see why KiraB are constantly(have been) trying to attack Takuto head on, just so they can have a leader? Just go with their plan and unlock the seals then right? What ever, I'll just sit here and enjoy, and speculate what these other maidens will look like, I wonder if the other 2 are also the same age as Wako, no milf or loli maidens >_>

I'd settle for at least an OVA of Sam the Squid Piercer ^_^

Sam's story is now over. The story between Head and fish-girl is also over. And as I expected, the Cybody from the preview wasn't Samekh.

One thing I like about this series is how human the LetsLakeOverTheWorld villains are. We see a different side to Head, we see Green has images of her lover on her computer, and everyone wishes the former Maiden well. And of course there's the hilarity that the members of Glittering Crux may not recognize each other but all have a spontaneous reaction to "Kiraboshi".
