Stupid End-of-Series Nostalgia

I've always wanted to see Peach Girl...is there any particular reason why you had to drop it, or was it just so good, like you said earlier, that you didn't want it to end?

Peach Girl is really great. Before dropping the series, I was only a few episodes short of the ending.

So it was the latter - I just couldn't bear the tension and honestly, I didn't want it to end, like you said.

Guess I have less of a problem with that now, but it still kinda bugs me when a series is over...

Hyakko was an example of nostalgia galore for me, too... Dunno if there will ever be a second season, but watching the last episode gave me a really weird feeling, mainly because that one was actually the prologue...

Edit: I'm on episode 22 of Toradora and I can already feel the end-of-series-nostalgia, I feel kinda sick :\

Aww. I'll definitely put it on my to-watch list, but hopefully I won't get the same feelings you did and not finish it, lol.

Finished Toradora yesterday night (watched it in 4 nights) and it seems I have a really hard case of nostalgia... Although it was a happy ending (which was kinda obvious from the start, but still...), I'm just so damn sad o_O

Shouldn't watch this kind of anime anymore... bums me out everytime.

I had this with Lucky Star, and I very sometimes have this with other animé, though most of them have regular satisfying endings.

I agree. i definitely wanted to see more of it, and the ova was nice, but didn't satisfy me enough for some reason, (haha, that sounded incredibly dirty, but oh well).

If the seriers was good then " NO it is over...But I whan't more".
But if the seriers was bad then "YES it is over, and I will never see it again".

I've yet to finish any really bad anime... so... yeah.

Well some times the anime can be good if I see it from start to finish.

Code Geass made me feel like that. Especially with that half assed ending leaving off questions.

Thats about all I can think for now.

Oh, air gear. Good series. Never made into season 2. Even though it perfectly set up for a sequel.

i feel like that too if it's a good anime. i like long running animes because then you can enjoy the anime longer. the only problem is that there are often fillers in those shows.

Or when the ending is really, really unsatisfying (See: Inuyasha; Rurouni Kenshin).
