Takahata Shun in Kami-sama no Iutoori Ni?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if Takahata Shun and his merry band ever show up in the sequel? I don't want to sound petty, but to be honest if I have to start over with brand new characters then I don't think it worth the effort. But if the old characters show up at some point then I'd be willing to continue reading. You don't have to go searching around for the exact chapter but just a heads-up would be awesome.
