The anime that changed you

Well along with clannad, I must say kannazuki no miko and elfen lied really touched me and changed my perspective.

Dual parallel adventure change me.
that first time i love female character on anime ( i like girl named "D" )

Three that changed me:

1. Kanon, THE best anime ever! (inb4 Clannad is the best rant...)
2. Lucky Star, gave me the otaku perk...
3. Elfen Lied, The anime didn't last long, but it ranks next to Kanon...

My cousin borrowed Princess Mononoke from a friend, soon after that he got me into Vampire Hunter D. Thus my interest in anime was kindled.

Elfen Lied.. why? cos it changed my out look on life same with chobits

Fullmetal Alchemist, it's really creative and unique. This anime inspires me to be a creative thinker.

I would have to say watching some of the series and movies my brother got on VHS. Four of them being Evangelion, Battle Angel Alita OVA, Macross Plus(movie or OVA don't remember which) and Record of Lodoss War. The animation and art style had me stunned as an 8-12 year old.

Then I discovered Samurai Pizza Cats was an anime, and it was something at the age I was at, I could more easily understand and not be a bit scared by. It all took off from there.

Oddly enough there were three anime that set me on my course to the awesome that is anime.

1. Tenchi-muyo = First episode: Women with laser beams fighting guy with light saber... Damn that was cool.

2. Gundam Wing = Giant robots piloted by humans with a compelling story... What more do you need.

3. Yu Yu Hakusho = who needs technology when your pointer finger is a gun and your best friend/rival can summon a sword from thin air?

I remember that I watched Sailor Moon and Pokemon as a kid, but never really thought about it at the time.

What really got me into it was when I realized that Love Hina and Chobits were available as anime. They were released in a comicbook called "Manga Mania" here in Sweden when I was around 11 or something and I had never considered the fact that they might had been available as cartoons.

But one day I found a .mp3 file on the computer that belonged to my brother(Who from what I know never has been into anime or manga). The file in question was an OST file from Love Hina, I looked it up, notcied that there was in fact a cartoon made of the series, I downloaded it and then I was hooked, starting with the series in the "Manga Mania" comic,(Love Hina, Chobits and GTO, )

It was probably Tekkaman Blade for me. It was the first anime I watched where a good guy character perma-died. Robotech and Evangelion helped out as well.

Neon Genesis Evangelion was my start to the anime world. I had apparently been given a wrong video from the video store (Korean Video Store) which had the first episode of the show in Korean. After watching it once it somehow just stuck in my head and eventually i got hooked on it.

Well, i got into manga when i was in sixth grade. My friend introduced me to Love Hina. Eventually i found it's corresponding anime, that and when Negima! came out.

Code geass, definetly. I still rewatch my favorite moments from it every now and then.
